Description:
3-Ethynylimidazolo[1,2-b]pyridazine is a ligand that binds to the active site of ponatinib and inhibits its function. Ponatinib is an anti-cancer drug that prevents cell growth by inhibiting the activity of tyrosine kinases. 3-Ethynylimidazolo[1,2-b]pyridazine functions as a competitive inhibitor in the binding of ponatinib to the enzyme's active site. This ligand also has been shown to induce apoptosis in cells.
