Product Information
Ethyl 3,5-diamino-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid is a hydrazine that is synthesized from trichloroacetonitrile and diazotization. It is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of sulfonylureas. Hydrazine reacts with methyl cyanoacetate to form a cyclic compound, which can be further converted by methylation to yield a sulfonylurea. Ethyl 3,5-diamino-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid can also be reacted with chlorosulfonic acid and pyridine to form the corresponding sulfonyl chloride.
