3-Ethyl-2-pentene is a monomer that is a radical chain. These reactions are catalyzed by rat liver microsomes and can produce epoxide products that have been used in imprinting and overlayers. This product can also be chlorinated to produce chlorinated reaction products, which are used in the production of polymers.
