Description

Ethyl 2-piperidin-4-ylacetate is a pyrrolidine ring that is a metabolite of diphenylurea (DPU). It has been shown to inhibit lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced lung inflammation in mice. The pharmacokinetic properties of ethyl 2-piperidin-4-ylacetate were studied using a ligand optimization approach, and the results showed that it has high bioavailability and oral availability. In vitro studies have found that this drug inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines, such as TNF α, IL1 β, and IL6.
