Product Information
Endo-(-)-2-norborneol is a reactive, vinylene, chloride that has been shown to be produced by the reaction of methyl ethyl and chloride. This compound has been shown to inhibit cholesterol esterase in Candida glabrata. The quantum theory was used to study the reaction solution which led to the conclusion that Endo-(-)-2-norborneol is a sterically interacting molecule with a polymer film. Trifluoroacetic acid was used as a catalyst for hydrolysis of Endo-(-)-2-norborneol and the carbonyl group was found on this compound.
