Description:

N-Ethylsulfamoyl chloride is a sulfonamide that is used to treat inflammatory diseases, such as the skin condition psoriasis and arthritis. It can be used in combination with other drugs, such as aspirin or ibuprofen. N-Ethylsulfamoyl chloride also has been shown to be effective against some acarids (e.g., ticks) and heart disease. N-Ethylsulfamoyl chloride inhibits the formation of carboxyproteins in the liver, which may lead to hepatic steatosis. This drug also has been shown to have pesticidal activity against insects and plants, but it is not active against bacteria or fungi.
