Ent-eletriptan is a 5-HT1A receptor agonist drug that is used in the treatment of cancer. It is orally administered and has been shown to bind to the 5-HT1A receptor, which is expressed in certain types of cancer cells. Ent-eletriptan has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on certain cancer cells by binding to chloride channels. This binding leads to an increase in intracellular chloride concentration, which causes cell death by interfering with cellular processes such as protein synthesis and DNA replication. Ent-eletriptan also binds to the CRTH2 receptor, which may be related to its anti-inflammatory properties. The molecular weight of ent-eletriptan is 277 daltons and it has a molecular formula of C6H11NO2S with a chemical name of 1-[3-(2-aminoethoxy)phenyl]ethanol hydrochloride monohydrate. Ent-eletriptan is classified
