Description

S-Ethylglutathione is a reactive compound that has been shown to be metabolized by the target tissue and reactive oxygen species. It has been shown to have an atp-dependent transport system in the cerebellar granule, which is involved in control experiments. In human liver, glutamate levels have been shown to increase after administration of S-ethylglutathione. This drug also induces changes in ATP levels and membrane potentials in mammalian cells. Furthermore, this compound has been used for conjugates with xenopus oocytes as well as for uptake studies.
