Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid trisodium salt is an ionic compound that is used as a corrosion inhibitor for metal surfaces. It forms a protective film on the surface of metals, preventing the oxidation of copper and other metals. This compound has been shown to be effective against dermatomycosis and other fungal infections. The multivariate logistic regression analysis of the data from this study revealed that ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid trisodium salt was a significant factor for the inhibition of dermatomycosis.
