4,5-Ethylenedithio-1,3-dithiole-2-thione is a supramolecular complex that contains an ethylene ligand and a thione group. The molecule also contains two chloride ions in its tetranuclear core. It has been shown to be magnetic with a high degree of symmetry, which has allowed for the determination of its molecular structure using diffraction techniques. It has also been shown to have vibrational and Raman spectra that are indicative of a sulfur containing compound.
