2-Ethylhexyl 4,6-dibromo-3-fluorothieno[3,4-b]thiophene-2-carboxylate is an acceptor molecule that is used in the production of polymers for solar cells. It has a chain structure with two methyl esters. This compound can be polymerized to form a copolymer and has been shown to have high efficiency in the visible range of light.
