Description:
2-Ethoxyacrylonitrile is an active methylene monomer with a hydroxyl group. It is used in the manufacture of polymers for use in electrophotographic processes and microspheres. 2-Ethoxyacrylonitrile has been shown to be a polymerization initiator, which can be used to create particles ranging from 10 to 100 micrometers in diameter. This chemical also has cardiovascular effects, such as reducing the pressure and volume of blood flow through the body. 2-Ethoxyacrylonitrile has an average particle diameter of around 30 micrometers and is soluble in n-dimethyl formamide at high temperatures.
