Description:
Epifluorohydrin is a sodium salt of epifluorohydrin that has been shown to have in vitro antifungal activity. It can be used as a polymerization catalyst for cationic polymerization and can be used as an analytical reagent for the detection of carbonyl groups. Epifluorohydrin is also an intermediate in the preparation of epoxides, which are important compounds in analytical chemistry.
