Description:
5,7,4'-Tri-O-methylcatechin is a natural product found in the bark of Cinnamomum aromaticum and Cinnamomum microphylla. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against bacteria such as Byerssonima aromatica, Bacillus cereus, and Escherichia coli. 5,7,4'-Tri-O-methylcatechin also has antioxidant properties that may be related to its ability to inhibit lipid peroxidation.
