3'-(5-Fluorescein)-CPG
Synonyms:
  • 1-Dimethoxytrityloxy-3-aza-3-[ I -oxo-3-{(di-O-pivaloyl-fluorescein)-5-carboxamido}propyl]heptyl-6-O-diglycoyl-long chain alkylamino -CPGFAM-CPG
Description:

3'-(5-Fluorescein)-CPG is a chemotherapeutic drug that has been shown to be an immunosuppressant. It was designed to target the tumour microenvironment, which is the area of the tumour in contact with the stroma. This drug also inhibits the production of TNF-α and IL-10 by myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSCs) in a dose-dependent manner. MDSCs are responsible for suppressing inflammatory responses from other immune cells, leading to decreased immune response against tumours. 3'-(5-Fluorescein)-CPG has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth and proliferation as well as reduce regulatory T cells.
