Description:
N-[2-(6-Fluoro-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl]-3-(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy)benzylamine is a pyrimidine compound that is used in the treatment of inflammatory diseases. It has been shown to be effective in clinical trials for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. The drug has been shown to be well tolerated and safe in clinical trials. This drug binds to acetylcholinesterase (AChE), an enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine. N-[2-(6-Fluoro-1H-indol-3-yl)ethyl]-3-(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropoxy)benzylamine inhibits AChE activity by binding with the active site of the enzyme and blocking it from breaking down acetylcholine.
