Product Information
3-[[2-(4-Fluorophenyl)ethyl]amino]-1-methyl-4-(2-methyl-1H-indol-3-yl)-1H-pyrrole-2,5-dione (3FED) is a synthetic ectopic expression modulator that can be used to modulate the activity of bone cells. 3FED interacts with β-catenin and inhibits the transcriptional activity of Wnt signaling, leading to inhibition of osteogenic differentiation. 3FED also interacts with other factors such as muscle cell factor and chronic kidney disease factor (CKDF). This drug has been shown to activate the protein RUNX2 in osteoclasts, which leads to increased bone resorption.
