4-Fluoro-N-(3-(1-methylpiperidin-4-yl)-1H-indol-5-yl)benzamide hydrochloride is a pharmacologic agent that is used to treat dural, caudate putamen, and clinical studies. It has 5HT1 receptor affinity ligands, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis in neuronal cells. Studies have shown that 4Fluoro-N-(3-(1-methylpiperidin-4-yl)-1H-indol-5-yl)benzamide hydrochloride has statistically significant effects on the granule cell layer of the cerebellum and on protein synthesis in the caudate putamen.
