Description:
N-[3-Fluoro-4-[[1-methyl-6-(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1H-indazol-5-yl]oxyphenyl]-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-6-methyl-2-oxopyridine 3carboxamide dihydrochloride (LB0802) is a potent and selective inhibitor of cyclin dependent kinases (CDKs). LB0802 has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of human cancer cells in culture, including breast, prostate, ovarian, and colon cancers. It also inhibits autophagy by binding to the bromodomain in the human domain of the protein. Inhibiting autophagy with this drug has been shown to enhance proteolysis which may make it an effective combination therapy for cancer treatment.
