5-Fluoro-1H-pyrimidin-6-one is a crystalline polymorph of hexane, which is an addictive and psychoactive drug. 5-Fluoro-1H-pyrimidin-6-one has been shown to inhibit the PDL1 receptor. This inhibition causes cancer cells to die by inhibiting the production of proteins vital for cell division. The effective dose for this drug is still unknown, but it has been found that the symptoms of depression are alleviated in patients who take this drug. 5Fluoro-1H-pyrimidin-6-one inhibits reuptake of neurotransmitters such as dopamine, leading to increased levels of these neurotransmitters in the synapses.
