Description:
2-fluoro-4-methylpyridin-3-amine belongs to the class of pyrimidine compounds. It is a competitive antagonist at the opioid receptor and has been shown to be chemically similar to morphine. The effects of 2-fluoro-4-methylpyridin-3-amine on β-galactosidase activity have been investigated using flowchart, chemistries, and dose response experiments. This drug has also been found to act as an antagonist at the subtype of opioid receptors that are coupled with β-galactosidase.
