Product Information
- 3-Fluoro-4-Nitrobenzenecarbaldehyde
- 3-Fluoro-4-Nitrobenzaldehyde
3-fluoro-4-nitrobenzaldehyde is an organic chemical that is used in the synthesis of antiviral drugs. It is a strong oxidant and has been shown to have life-threatening effects in immunocompromised patients, as well as constant nitrosative stress. 3-fluoro-4-nitrobenzaldehyde can also be synthesized from nitrobenzene, an organic solvent. 3-fluoro-4-nitrobenzaldehyde is resistant to oxidation by acids and bases and can be used for the synthesis of cytomegalovirus (CMV) inhibitors. 3F4NA is a strong, oxidizing agent with a pungent odor that is soluble in organic solvents. This chemical has been shown to be cytotoxic in cell culture assays against CMV infection.
