Description

2-Fluorophenylboronic acid is a molecule that has two fluorine atoms attached to a boron atom. It is used in the synthesis of many organic compounds, including dopamine, 2-fluoroaniline, and 2-fluoroethanol. 2-Fluorophenylboronic acid can be synthesized by the cross-coupling reaction of phenyl boronic acid with hydrogen fluoride in the presence of copper or palladium catalyst.
