Fmoc-Asp(OtBu)-(Dmb)Gly-OH is a peptide that has been synthesized by solid-phase synthesis. It has been designed to specifically bind to Lysine residues in proteins and can be used as a model protein with specificities for lysines. The sequence of the peptide is Fmoc-Asp(OtBu)-Dmb-Gly-OH. Fmoc-Asp(OtBu)-Dmb-Gly-OH is a novel chemical ligation strategy that uses an amide bond between the terminal amino group on the lysine and the alpha carboxyl group on the dipeptide, Dmb-(Dmb)Gly. This peptide is used for protein homeostasis, cellular functions, and modifications of proteins.
