4-[3-[3-[4-(4-Fluorobenzoyl)-1-piperidinyl]propoxy]-4-methoxyphenyl]-2-pyrrolizinone is a linker that is used for drug conjugation. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of serotonergic enzymes and to be an effective cancer drug. 4-[3-[3-[4-(4-Fluorobenzoyl)-1-piperidinyl]propoxy]-4-methoxyphenyl]-2-pyrrolizinone also has high concentrations in hyperproliferative diseases, such as cancer or psoriasis, and can be used as a diluent for drugs. This compound inhibits oxidative phosphorylation by binding to cytochrome c oxidase and other targets involved in the electron transport chain in mitochondria. It also binds to the enzyme protein kinase C, which regulates cell proliferation
