9H-Fluorene-2,7-diamine,n2,n7-di-1-naphthalenyl-N2,n7,9,9-tetraphenyl is a fluorescent dye that has been used in optoelectronics such as optical switches. It has lower transport properties than other dyes such as pyranines and phthalocyanines. 9H-Fluorene-2,7-diamine,n2,n7-di-1-naphthalenyl-N2,n7,9,9 tetraphenyl is synthesized by the reaction of fluorene with 2 equivalents of 1 Naphthaldehyde in presence of a base. This dye has a high quantum yield and efficiency.
