3-Fluorophenylurea is a molecule with a stepwise structure activity monitoring (SAR) profile that has been shown to be potentiated by the presence of duplications. 3-Fluorophenylurea has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells, such as those resistant to other chemotherapies, and has been shown to modulate drug resistance mutations in these cells. The compound also induces regression in tumors and inhibits the proliferation of human T-lymphocytes. 3-Fluorophenylurea is structurally related to pyrazoles and has been shown to potentiate their effects on cancer cell lines.
