4-Fluorophenylacetylene is an organometallic compound that has been shown to inhibit aggregation of alpha-synuclein, a protein that is associated with Parkinson's disease. 4-Fluorophenylacetylene has also been shown to have bioactive properties and has been studied as a molecule for use in cancer treatment.
