Description:

Fmoc-D-Cys(tBu)-OH is a linker used to assemble cyclic peptides. It has two reactive groups, one at the end of the Cys side chain and the other at the end of the tBu group. The amino acid cysteine is attached to the free amine group on Fmoc-D-Cys(tBu)-OH. The disulfide bond between these two groups forms a stable linkage that can be used in cyclic peptide synthesis. This compound also has been shown to be useful in phase peptide synthesis.
