Description:
1-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1-methyl-ethylamine is a hydrophobic anion that possesses a strong hydration ability. It has been shown to be an efficient electron donor in organic solar cells, and also has the potential to be used as a surface modifier for perovskite solar cells. The methylammonium ion has been found to be able to efficiently generate superoxide anions, which can be used as a catalyst in the hydration of alcohols. 1-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1-methyl-ethylamine is commercially available and is sold at $12.00 per gram.
