Description:
Fmoc-Arg(Mtr)-Opfp is a cyclic peptide that is synthesized by attaching the Fmoc protecting group to the amino acid Arg(Mtr). The hydroxy group on the C-terminus of this peptide can be used for conjugation with other molecules. When bound to mucin, Fmoc-Arg(Mtr)-Opfp has been shown to be an antigen that induces a strong immune response in mice. This peptide also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by binding to their cell surfaces and inhibiting their ability to synthesize proteins.
