Description

Fmoc-D-Arg(Mtr)-OH is a depsipeptide that belongs to the group of katanosins. It was synthesized by solid phase synthesis and reacted with piperidine in dichloromethane, followed by cleavage from the resin. Fmoc-D-Arg(Mtr)-OH has been shown to have antibiotic activity against Gram-positive organisms and has been used to produce analogues.
