Product Information
Fmoc-nh-dpeg(4)-cooh is a radiolabeled peptide that can be used for the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer cells have an increased uptake of this peptide, which is visualized with a gamma camera. The uptake and retention of the peptide in pancreatic tumor tissue is higher than in normal pancreas tissue. Fmoc-nh-dpeg(4)-cooh has been shown to bind to the receptor subtype alpha2b-adrenergic and has a high affinity for human receptors. It also inhibits efflux and can be used as an analog for radioiodinated α2b-adrenergic receptor ligands.
