Description:
N-alpha-Fmoc-Ngamma-2,4,6-trimethoxybenzyl-L-asparagine is a pentafluorophenyl ester of N-alpha-(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)-L-asparagine. The pentafluorophenyl group is activated by reaction with a reagent such as alkyl halide to form an alkylate. This product is used in peptide synthesis and has been shown to be efficient for the synthesis of short peptides with Nterminal residues.
