Product Information
- Fmoc-Inp-OHFmoc-piperidine-4-carboxylic acid
- Fmoc-Inp-OH
Fmoc-isonipecotic acid is a synthetic ligand that binds to the benzodiazepine receptor and inhibits the activity of this receptor. It has a hydrophobic, conformationally constrained structure with a photostability of more than 1 hour in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4. Fmoc-isonipecotic acid is used to monitor the binding of other ligands to the benzodiazepine receptor. This compound is also used as an analog for studying the inhibitory effect of ligands on receptors and shift assays, which are used to monitor conformational changes in proteins induced by ligands.
