Description:
Fmoc-11-aminoundecanoic acid is an amino acid that has a molecular weight of 256. It is a cell culture-derived, extracellular death ligand. It interacts with the receptor on the surface of cancer cells, which triggers a cascade of events leading to apoptosis and death. Fmoc-11-aminoundecanoic acid has been shown to be effective against cancer cells in vitro and in vivo, as well as being selective for cancer cells over normal cells. Fmoc-11-aminoundecanoic acid does not bind to bile acids or interact with other ligands, thus preventing it from triggering off unwanted side effects.
