Description:

Fmoc-diethylglycine is a chemical compound that is used as a building block in the synthesis of peptides and proteins. It has been modified to contain a number of functional groups, which are used for various purposes. Fmoc-diethylglycine can be synthesized using a number of strategies, such as azobenzene, collagen, techniques and synthesised. This compound has also been modified with dialkylamino groups and carbodiimides to yield animal tissues that have been modified with pentafluorophenyl or chlorides. Functional assays are used to determine the modifications made to the protein and advances in this area have led to uv irradiation being an important tool in these assays.
