Description:
Fmoc-2-methyl-L-phenylalanine is a potent inhibitor of proteinase that has been found to inhibit the replication of hepatitis B virus in vitro. Fmoc-2-methyl-L-phenylalanine is derived from a solid phase synthesis of a peptide sequence, which may be modified to produce analogues with different functionalities. This compound can be used as an antiviral agent or immunosuppressive drug.
