Fmoc-N-(3-Boc-aminopropyl)-glycine is a peptoid that is composed of an N-terminal sequence, a spacer sequence and a C-terminal residue. It was synthesized by the Fmoc strategy with the use of an isothiocyanate and a phenyl group for protection. The peptoid can be cleaved from the solid support with thiohydantoin, which releases the free amine from the 3 position of the side chain. This peptoid has been used to generate peptidomimetics that are more stable than natural proteins.br>
