Description

4-Fluoro-2-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)phenol is a nonsteroidal antiobesity drug that belongs to the group of pyrazole derivatives. It acts by decreasing triglyceride levels in the blood, liver, and fat tissues. 4-Fluoro-2-(1H-pyrazol-3-yl)phenol has been shown to have synergistic effects with ethanol and sucrose, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the enzyme triglyceride lipase. This drug also has hepatotoxic effects on the liver, which may be due to its ability to increase hepatic triglyceride levels.
