Product Information

Name:
Fmoc-AEEP-OH
Synonyms:
  • 2,7,10-Trioxa-4-azatridecan-13-oicacid, 1-(9H-fluoren-9-yl)-3-oxo-
  • Fmoc-NH-PEG2-CH2CH2COOH
Description:

Fmoc-AEEP-OH is a ligand that selectively binds to Aspergillus. It has been used as a gold nanoparticle optical sensor for the detection of Aspergillus. The immobilization of Fmoc-AEEP-OH on a glass surface, with the help of an affinity molecule, was achieved by covalent attachment with glutaraldehyde. The sensitivity and specificity of this method are high due to its long retention time and high sensitivity. The detection time is short, which allows for fast screening of microorganisms in clinical samples. Fmoc-AEEP-OH can be used to detect Aspergillus in clinical samples such as cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) or bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF).
