Fmoc-Ile-OPfp is an immobilized peptide that can be used to diagnose and identify the amino acid sequence of a protein. It can be used in conjunction with other immobilized peptides, such as Fmoc-Lys(Npys)-OPfp, to identify the translation products of a protein. This immobilized peptide has been shown to interact with histone H3. The strategy for this peptide is based on the use of a microarray and lithography techniques to create patterns of immobilized peptides.
