2-Fluoro-6-methylaniline is a colorless, volatile liquid that is soluble in water. It is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of phenyl, benzophenone, and other substances. 2-Fluoro-6-methylaniline has a boiling point of about 182°C and a density of 1.77 g/cm3. The substance is highly flammable and sensitive to shock or friction. 2-Fluoro-6-methylaniline is toxic, but not corrosive.
