Description:

Fluorosulfonyloxyethane is a cationic polymerization agent that is used to modify the properties of polymers. It can be used in nonaqueous systems, and has a high degree of reactivity with diphenyl ethers and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Fluorosulfonyloxyethane reacts with carbonyl groups to form ring-opening reactions, which are useful for the preparation of long-chain molecules. This chemical also reacts with alkynyl groups to produce reaction intermediates that can be used in other polymerization reactions.
