6-Fluoro-2(1H)-Quinolinone is a synthetic compound that inhibits bacterial growth by binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, thereby preventing transcription and replication. It is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that is used for the treatment of bacterial infections.
