3-Fluoroquinoline is a chemical compound that is an isomer of quinoline. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of bacteria, such as Salmonella typhimurium, in animal studies. 3-Fluoroquinoline has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties and may be useful for treating rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases. 3-Fluoroquinoline has been shown to increase the production of liver cells in rats and may also have anticancer effects on liver cells in animals.
