Description:
7-Fluoro-4-Hydroxyquinoline is a quinoline derivative with antioxidant properties. It has been shown to inhibit the oxidation of phosphatidylcholine by sulfoxide and also to show antioxidative activity in various systems. 7-Fluoro-4-Hydroxyquinoline has been found to be a potent inhibitor of alpha-tocopherol autoxidation. This compound inhibits the reaction system of 4-hydroxyquinoline and hydroxy group, which leads to an increase in the efficiency of this reaction.
