Description

1-(4-Fluorobenzyl)piperazine is a potent tyrosinase inhibitor and has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of human cancer cells. It has been found to have inhibitory activity against the amine oxidase enzyme, which is involved in the biosynthesis of pro-inflammatory cytokines. The biochemical properties of 1-(4-fluorobenzyl)piperazine have been studied by liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry and it has been found to be synthesized from piperazine and an amine. There are no other studies available on this drug at this time.
