2-(2-Fluorophenyl)Piperazine is a thiomorpholine that has been shown to act as a potent and selective ligand for the benzodiazepine site on the gamma-aminobutyric acid A receptor. 2-(2-Fluorophenyl)Piperazine has been used in wastewater analysis, where it can be used to monitor cathinones such as amphetamine, methamphetamine and MDMA. This product is not active against other drugs of abuse such as cocaine or amphetamine.
