4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1H-Pyrazole is a cytotoxic agent that belongs to the group of bgc-823. It has been shown to have in vitro cytotoxic activity against HL60 cells, and is a potent inhibitor of DNA synthesis in cultured cells. 4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1H-Pyrazole inhibits cell proliferation by causing DNA strand breaks, inhibiting the process of DNA synthesis. This compound has also been shown to have cytotoxic effects on BEL7402 cells. The chemical structure of 4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1H-Pyrazole consists of a phenylacetic acid moiety with two hydroxamic acid substituents and an ethoxycarbonyl group. 4-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1H-Pyrazole is available in powder form and contains no detectable elemental impurities.
